Sharjah24: Lieutenant-Colonel Khaled Al-Kai, Director of the Dealing Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department, called for the necessity of benefiting from the smart services provided via MOI app to obtain traffic services without personally attending the Traffic and Licensing Services Center, within the framework of achieving the strategic objective of the Ministry of Interior aiming to enhance the happiness of customers with the services provided alongside the priorities of the UAE government in activating and applying electronic services and smart transformation which contributes in time and effort efficiency and improves the quality of life.
Commenting on this, Lt. Col. Al-Kai also clarified that starting from the first of next September, customers will be directed to use the smart application to obtain services instead of personally attending the center. The services are vehicle registration, vehicle renewal, reservation of a plate number, issuance of a replacement for damaged or lost vehicle’s ownership, changing personal information in addition to opening a traffic file, issuance and renewal of driver’s license, replacement of damaged or lost driver’s license, and adding a category to driving license.
Lt. Col. Khaled Al-Ki confirmed that the main objective of the smart transformation is to simplify the procedures for customers and obtaining the service faster, with less time and efforts, contributing in raising the customer satisfaction regarding the provided services, and achieving the strategy of the Ministry of Interior and its vision aiming to promote the status of the country as one of the best countries in the world in security and safety.
