The campaign aims to raise feelings of security and safety consistent with the strategy of the Ministry of Interior’s goals.
Lieutenant-Colonel Mohammed Ali bin Haider, Acting Head of the Buhaira Comprehensive Police Station, stressed the importance of organising such security campaigns that aim to intensify the security presence, monitor the negative behaviours of some individuals, as well as monitoring abandoned and neglected vehicles between residential buildings and sand areas, to reduce their danger.
Lieutenant-Colonel Mohammed bin Haider, called on owners of residential buildings and facilities, for the need to cooperate and contribute to achieving the goals of the campaign by working to illuminate the dark places of the facilities, such as the corridors surrounding them, and parking lots, to increase the sense of safety and reduce crime rates. He also called on community members to cooperate in maintaining their safety and their personal belongings, by parking their vehicles in the designated places, and to not leave valuables inside, noting the need to communicate with the police authorities in the event of any negative behaviour by calling 999 for emergency cases, and 901 for non-emergency cases.
