Sharjah24: The Arab Children's Parliament's Secretary-General, Ayman Othman Al-Barout, noted that the parliament's second session, which will take place next Saturday, would cover a variety of themes, the most important of which is "the role of the child in communal peace.
Al-Barout announced the candidacy of 30 members of Parliament for the presidency and the position of two deputies, with 12 members applying for the presidency, explaining that efforts are focused on educating children about the nomination process and presenting their electoral platforms in order to achieve the percentage required to win the presidency. The Arab League is in charge of oversight.
In statements to "Sharjah 24," Al-Barout said that the voting process will be integrated as if it were on the ground, utilizing the greatest current technology, and that The Arab Children's Parliament’s teams are working hard to ensure that the pandemic does not obstruct Parliament's work.
