Sharjah24: The Secretary General of the Arab Parliament for the Child, Ayman Othman Al Barout, revealed that the second session of the second edition of the Arab Parliament for the Child, will be held on Saturday 31 July, with participation of 12 Arab countries to nominate for position of the President of the Arab Parliament for the Child.
This comes after the Parliament's announcement of receiving applications for candidacy from members of Parliament from children of the Arab world for the position of Parliament president.
Arab children will lead the democracy after the end of the first session of Parliament, which was chaired for two years by the Sudanese Walid Al Atta as the first president of the parliament and assisted by the Abdel Wahab Al-Rifai as the first vice president and the Jordanian Omar Al Maaytah as the second vice president.
Ayman Othman Al-Barout, indicated that the candidates for the position of president of Parliament will start their electoral campaigns to persuade members of Parliament to vote for them, noting that the election will start with the beginning of the work of the next session.
He pointed out that the members have been subjected to a simulation experience of the electronic election system and have been trained on the voting mechanism.
He indicated that the agenda for the session will include the election of the first vice president and the second vice president, as well as the formation of the two parliament committees.
