Sharjah24: The Family Forum Center at Sharjah Social Services Department implemented 75 virtual visits via visual platforms between inmates of the Punitive and Correctional Institution in Sharjah Police and their families outside the country, which were held from 18 to 22 of July , in paralleled with the Eid Al-Adha.

The families of the inmates expressed their happiness for this initiative, which made them happy and enabled them to reassure of their families inside the Punitive and Correctional Institution, highlighting the humanitarian and societal role of the United Arab Emirates in various societal and humanitarian aspects.

Fayza Khabab, Director of the Family Forum Center, affirmed that the center continues to provide its services in all circumstances, shedding light on the key role of the virtual visits in gathering all members of the family especially in the Islamic occasions. 

She emphasised that 5 virtual visits are implemented daily, and the number may be increased based on the disclosure received from the Punitive and Correctional Institution, while the number of virtual visits were increased from 5 to 15 on Eid Al Adha.
