SSC discusses Sharjah’s Olympic city project

Sharjah 24: The Individual Games Committee of the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) continued to review the reports on the action plan of the Sharjah Olympic Sports City project, and to follow up on the tasks and roles assigned to the members of the committee.
This came during the meeting recently held at the headquarters of the Executive Committee of the futsal games and chaired by Abdul Malik Jani, deputy chairman of the SSC, in the presence of the members.

After conveying the greetings of the Chairman and members of the Sharjah Sports Council, for the efforts made by the committee, Abdul Malik Jani reviewed the various standards of the Sharjah Olympic Sports City project, in terms of various aspects, logistical equipment and others required facilities, and cooperating institutions with the sports city.

The committee discussed the report of the Olympic Games in Tokyo, during the current month, focusing on the most important points that benefit the file of the Sharjah Olympic Sports City project, and determining the various standards and basic points that must be met in the accompanying events within the Olympic Village, according to many factors.

Jani indicated that the committee is working on the completion of a number of reports on the Sharjah Olympic Sports City project, as this project represents a great importance for the promotion of sports and hosting events in light of Sharjah’s distinct sports infrastructure to promote sports in the emirate in particular, and the UAE in general.
