Sharjah24: In order to enhance the values of the Arabic language among new generations, the Sharjah Radio (SR), affiliated to the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority (SBA), launched the "My Identity" initiative aimed at underscoring the importance of the Arabic language among children.

The participation will be opened, until July 15th, through the "Studio 94.4" program presented by Muzna Najib and Abdulaziz Al Ameri, with the aim to highlight the beauty of the Arabic language, stressing on its importance as the societal identity of the UAE.

The program, which is dedicated to children, will broadcast short video clips, through Sharjah Radio's Instagram page on the social networking site "Sharjah_radio", during which children will introduce themselves by speaking the standard Arabic language, expressing the significance of preserving the Arabic language. The Sharjah Radio sets conditions for participation.

About this initiative, Abeer Al-Shawi, Director of Sharjah Radio, said: “Our Arabic language is the original component of the societal identity of the United Arab Emirates,” expressing that it reflects the ideology, awareness and original heritage, as well as the cultural importance. She stressed that the initiative serves the future generations as it sheds light on the beauty of the language.
