SSC launches the "Professional Sports Management" diploma

Sharjah 24: Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) launched the first programme of the second edition of professional diplomas including six accredited diplomas. Professional Sports Management programme was launched at the Sharjah Police Officers Club, within the empowering sports leaders programme in cooperation with DASA Academy, where at least 25 students participated in the diploma, in addition to candidates from some government institutions that are strategic partners of the Council. The programme consists of 100-hour training course, and continues until next September.
His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of Sharjah Sports Council indicated that the first programme is one of six diplomas organised by the Council in cooperation with the Darasa Academy, in line with the objectives and aspirations of the Council and a translation of the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, follow-up of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of Sharjah Executive Council, aiming to support of all sectors in Sharjah, including the sports sector. His Excellency added that SSC launched the first diploma, which will be dedicated to professional sports management that saw a great interest among the affiliates who represent various sports and specialised clubs in Sharjah. His Excellency pointed that participation of Sharjah government institutions marks the importance of the programme, which will be reflected on the students in the future.
