SEWA lights Al Saf streets and Square 19 in Kalba

Sharjah 24: The Kalba Department of the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) has completed the lighting project for the Al Saf and Square 19 areas in Kalba City by installing 282 light poles and 336 energy-saving LED spotlights.
The project is in implementation the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to avoid traffic accidents, and achieve security, safety and civilised appearance.

Engineer Moza Al Zaabi, Director of Kalba Department, explained that lighting projects are among the vital and necessary projects that the Authority continues to implement in all regions through a strategic plan and timetable that are applied in lighting operations in all regions.

Engineer Al Zaabi praised the continuous follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, and his keenness to provide all citizens and residents with all means to a decent life in all regions of Sharjah.

She added that the Authority started using energy-saving LED lamps to light Kalba streets, Al Saf Street and Square 19 within a specific time schedule, where poles were installed, then cables and distribution boards were extended to reduce traffic accidents, and embellish the Region.

Engineer Al Zaabi pointed out that lighting projects are among the most necessary projects to embellish residential neighbourhoods, provide security and safety for motorists and pedestrians, and promote the continuous development. She concluded that artistic designs of lighting poles and lamps were taken into account.
