Sharjah24: As part of its plan to promote strategic partnerships for innovation and its initiatives related to the main innovation focuses in the fields of electricity, water, gas, and technology, the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) organized a visit to the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park (SRTIP). The authority wants to help attract new ideas by developing a clear framework and implementing it across all of the authority's departments.
The authority, according to Mohammed Abdullah, Director of Strategy and Institutional Development Department, follows worldwide methods for innovation and adopts best practices at all stages of innovation to encourage the development of large-scale innovation and change systems. To develop the movement of innovation and creativity, the authority aspires to accept exceptional personnel and creative staff.
The team evaluated the Sharjah Research and Innovation Park's strategy and objectives, as well as the Middle East Innovation Centre’s objectives and projects, and “rtipark” Academy's interactive workshops and courses, during their visit.
