Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Prevention and Safety Authority (SPSA) has launched an awareness campaign entitled "Occupational Safety and Health for University Students", in cooperation with the Deanships of Student Affairs, Student Activities Department at the University of Sharjah.
The awareness campaign aims to educate university students and the administrative and academic bodies on safety rules on the campus in light of the Covid-19 and to familiarise them with the surrounding risks in the campus environment and the prevention of Covid-19, as well as ways to maintain psychological health.

In this context, the Prevention and Safety Authority, in cooperation with the Umm Al Quwain Youth Centre, held a training programme entitled "Medication Safety", benefiting 101 trainees from the general public. The programme addressed many important topics including risk management and the importance of risk assessment and control measures. The training programme also explained how to store and keep medicines out of children's reach, as well as advising students on use of medicines, especially during travel.

On the other hand, the "Salamatuk Bus" visited the Al Hosn Museum in Khorfakkan and the "ENOC" station in Al Yarmouk area in Sharjah. Salamatuk Bus initiative was launched to reach all segments of the society to raise their awareness of safety procedures, in order to achieve the authority’s vision to reach a risk- free society.
