Sharjah 24: Based on its concern for the health and safety of society, and in affirmation of the preventive measures taken by the United Arab Emirates, Sharjah Prevention and Safety Authority (SPSA) held an awareness workshop on social protocols during Eid period to limit the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, through the direct broadcast feature of SPSA's Instagram account.
Eng. Lamia Al Noman, Director of the Supporting Services Department, indicated the importance of adhering to the protocols launched by the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority, which aim to limit the spread of infectious diseases, without preventing enjoyment of the happy holidays. These measures primarily contribute to ensuring the health and safety of family members, and this matter requires everyone's cooperation, stressing SPSA's keenness to educate community members about safety procedures to reach a safe society free of dangers.
SPSA also presented a risk assessment workshop that discusses the importance of risk assessment, risk control strategies, and measures necessary to maintain the safety and security of work sites, from which 82 trainees from the Social Services Department have benefited.
