Sharjah24: Continuous work carried out by the Arab Parliament for the Child (APC), which is based in Sharjah, as part of its preparations, which are in full swing, to hold the second session of the work of the second session of Parliament, which is scheduled to be held remotely with the participation of children in the Arab world.
Parliament is intensifying its communication with member states to hold the session next July to complete its issues, after the new formation of parliament members took place at the beginning of the current session last February.
His Excellency Ayman Othman Al Barout, Secretary-General of the Arab Parliament for the Child, confirmed that the second session will be held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, from 27 to 31 next July.
He explained that the second session will be held Saturday, 31 July, with the participation of Member States in Parliament.
Al Barout dealt with saying that the preparations are proceeding continuously with the invitations sent through the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States to its delegates to invite its children, the accredited representatives, to participate in the second session, where the participation is scheduled to be remotely, for reasons of current precautions and maintaining public health as a result of the Coronavirus.
He pointed out that the second session will be preceded by a number of accompanying rehabilitation programmes that are consistent with the parliament's policies that precede each session.
