SSC organises media platform training workshop

Sharjah 24: Within its efforts to support sports clubs with all media needs that would contribute positively to the development of the sporting march in the emirate, the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC), in cooperation with the Sharjah Government Media Bureau (SGMB), organised a training workshop last Wednesday in order to introduce and train specialists from Media professionals in the emirate’s clubs to use the “digital media platform” of the SGMB.

Speaking at the event, Eisa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of Sharjah Sports Council, praised the goal for which the workshop was organised and appreciated clubs’ media’s participation. He highlighted the important role of media in the development of sport being a fundamental and important pillar, adding that the council’s interest in this aspect comes in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah for the advancement of sport in all its fields.

Al Hazami concluded emphasising the need to support sports leaders with the various necessary training programmes and workshops, considering the responsibility for developing media skills a top priority of the council.
