Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Broadcasting Authority (SBA), through its audiovisual channels and social media platforms, is set to broadcast the proceedings of the 12th edition of Sharjah Children's Reading Festival (SCRF) themed "For Your Imagination", that will be held May 19-29, 2021 at Expo Centre Sharjah .
Sharjah TV will take viewers directly to the event, broadcasting a live coverage of SCRF opening according to a media plan, followed by the Festival proceedings, sessions and competitions, in addition to interviews with guests, artists and participating children.

Sharjah Radio will broadcast a special programme, with the Festival theme "For Your Imagination", and will host a number of the Festival guests and participants. Radio Plus 95 will provide of full coverage of the festival's events and seminars, on a daily basis, hosting a number of guests and participants.

Mohamed Hassan Khalaf, Director General of the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, confirmed that SBA is keen to provide a full coverage for the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival . 

Khalaf explained that the Festival is exceptionally important as it contributes to the development of today's children and the future generations’ culture, and it translates the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.

Director General of the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority pointed that the Authority shares the same goals with Sharjah Book Authority. He added that SBA used to cover Sharjah Children's Reading Festival  for 12 consecutive years, along with official media sponsors, and that the Festival's message are to be celebrated, accordingly SBA developed a plan to cover it on yearly basis.
