The meals were distributed through 122 distribution points in all regions and cities of the Emirate of Sharjah all of which are subject to complete precautionary measures.
Rashid Saleh bin Hammad, head of the resource development department at the SCI, confirmed that the Charity found a great response from donors to support the Iftar project, stressing that the success of this work reflects the values of brotherhood and social solidarity that characterise Emiratis, and their eagerness to donate to this great project to obtain the great reward.
He explained that the project reflects the efforts made by the SCI to reach these large numbers, taking into account all the precautionary measures in place to prevent the spread of the Corona pandemic.
Bin Hammad pointed out that the SCI is still working to raise the daily allocations for the project, so that it can provide meals to more than a million beneficiaries by the end of the holy month. He sincerely thanked the donors and sponsors for their good and active contribution.
