Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Public Works Department (SPWD) announced the launch of a "visual communication" service aimed at raising the level of communication with strategic partners from institutions and departments, consultant offices, developers, and dealers regarding clearing transactions, communicating with the contract administration and explaining the mechanisms for submitting and participating in tenders, through a virtual interactive meeting for employees of the Customer Happiness Centre and engineers of contract management with customers.
The new service aims to enhance coordination and cooperation among all parties that benefit from the services of the department.
This came during the department's first interactive video meeting which saw a great interaction with customers, answering their questions and transactions by the employees of the Customer Happiness Centre and Contract Management, and clarifying the work mechanism related to submitting and awarding tenders and disbursing financial payments to the category of contractors and consultants, in addition to explaining electronic and smart services.
Maryam Al Mazmi, Director of the Institutional Call Centre, stressed that the Department is keen to achieve the vision of the Sharjah government through its continuous endeavour to develop its performance by investing the latest technological means, and the technical capabilities that qualify us to provide modern services commensurate with the size of the challenges and ambitions, and at the same time achieve the aspirations of the community, customers and our strategic partners. She added that this strategy is a prelude to stopping customers from visiting the headquarters and centres of the department to complete their transactions.
For his part, Abdullah Al Zamani, Head of the Customer Happiness Centre, stressed that the "visual communication" system comes in light of the inevitable development towards excellence, and the Sharjah government’s pursuit of smart services and harnessing them in community service, and keeping pace with what is followed in international cities.
