Sharjah 24: Dibba Al Hisn Parents Council, part of the Sharjah Education Council of the Government of Sharjah, concluded the Reading Challenge competition for the of Students, which was launched last March under the slogan (My Family Reads).
The launch of the competition came within the framework of the educational activities in line with the package of projects and initiatives that it launched during the month of reading under Sharjah Education Council that are compatible with the Rakaez initiative.
The jury of the completion that included Asir Al Messiri, Dr. Naima Mohammed Al Watri and Mona Ibrahim Saeed bin Yaarouf, announced the winners of the competition, in an event that took place on the Zoom platform, with a great participation and remarkable interest from the public.
The results in the first places in the parents' category were Faten Salim Al Hariri and Khadija Tamrouk Saeed Al Dhahouri, and Ali Saeed Al Hatab Al Naqbi.
In the students’ category, Mohammed Ali Dalmouk Al Ketbi, Khadija Ahmad Juma Al Khalidi, and Rawda Ali Abdullah Al Salami earned the first places.
On this occasion, Sheikha Ahmed Al Hendasi, Chair of the Educational Committee and the supervisor of the competition, congratulated all the winners and said that all participants are winners.
Al Hendasi appreciated the role of the council and its secretariat in arranging and organising the competition, expressing her gratitude to the jury for the role it played in planning and arranging for the success of the evaluation.
