Sharjah24: The Sharjah Art Foundation announced the "March 2021 Meeting" program, which will be held under the title "Manifestations of the Present", from 21 to 23 March 2021, including a wide range of virtual dialogue sessions, events and live performances that discuss the most important issues of contemporary art over a period of 10 days.
The meeting for this year will discuss a number of topics related to art and urban imagination, artistic evaluation in the era of crisis, the relationship between biennial sessions and the post-colonial phase, reviewing Sharjah Biennial’s role and importance in the contemporary regional and international art scene over the past thirty years. The program of the meeting includes 3 sessions under the title "The Round Table", hosting a group of artists, curators and organisers who played a pivotal role in establishing the Sharjah Biennial.
The program also includes a series of lectures and critical research presented by academic thinkers and researchers, through which they discuss various issues.
