Al Rahmaniya Suburb Council organises a visit to Khorfakkan

Sharjah24: A number of residents from Al Rahmaniya Suburb Council toured several different tourist and recreational sites during its initiative to visit the city of Khorfakkan, aiming to view its various landmarks and facilities provided for the visitors.

Around 30 residents from Al Rahmaniya Suburb Council participated in the visit, which started from 'Shees park' in Khorfakkan, where they were received by Khamis bin Salem Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs; Mohammed Khamis Al Naqbi, Deputy Governor of Shes Region; and a number of department officials and the people of Shees area.

During the tour, the visitors reviewed the various facilities provided for the visitor of the city, visiting several cultural heritage sites in the mountainous city.

Commenting on this, Ahmed Abdullah Al Matroushi, Chairman of Al Rahmaniya Suburb Council thanked and appreciated the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs in Sharjah and all those who contributed to the success of the educational recreational visit that was organised for the people of Al Rahmaniya suburb of the city of Khorfakkan, stressing that it contributed in strengthening the neighborhood bonds among the people. He has also lauded the most prominent tourist and urban facilities inaugurated by His Highness Ruler of Sharjah recently in the region.
