Together with sister associations from around the world, we discussed general issues as well as amendments to the WAGGGS’ constitution and by-laws, apart from voting and selecting members to the new board. This experience will help support the guiding movement in UAE and aid us in promoting a sense of responsibility in our girls,”

The conference also approved the organisation’s future strategic plan, discussed the Girl Guides and Girl Scouts Policy and selected Cyprus to host the next edition of the WAGGGS World Conference.
The World Conference is responsible for formulating the WAGGGS general policies. Member organisations discuss key topics on the global guiding movement at the conference sessions, and vote on proposals received.
