Sharjah 24: Ahmed bin Rakkad Al Ameri, Chairman of the Sharjah Book Authority (SBA), explained that the 12th edition of the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival (SCRF) keeps pace with the challenges posed by the Corona pandemic.
He stated that the 12th edition of the SCRF receives great support and patronage from His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and his wife, Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs (SCFA) in Sharjah, to confirm that the family and the child are a top priority for Sharjah and the UAE.
In his exclusive statement to “Sharjah 24”, Al Ameri added that the SCRF takes care of and guards the literature and culture of the child, and transmits culture, thought and literature this year in all the emirates of the country from Abu Dhabi to Fujairah.
