Sharjah24: Fatima Al-Marzouqi, Director of the Children's Social Welfare Home at the Sharjah Social Services Department, revealed that the department has been organising the annual "Ehtwaa"meeting, which was held this year under the title "How to inform your foster child of his social reality", through the virtual "Zoom" platform, given the current health conditions.
Al-Marzouqi added, in exclusive statements to "Sharjah 24", that the meeting was presented by Dr. Hussein Masih, a consultant psychiatrist, and a number of specialists in the social field, with the aim of introducing how to inform the fostered child of his social reality in a scientific and systematic way.
The director of the Social Care Home for Children revealed that the foster families who participated in a containment meeting reviewed their experiences with cuddling, and how to inform the fostered child of his social reality.
Al Marzouqi thanked the members of the Permanent Committee for the Care of Children deprived of social care for their efforts in serving this group, and their tireless endeavor to provide a safe and stable life for them.
