Sharjah24: Maryam Al Qaidi, the official in charge of the Khor Kalba Mangrove Center, thanked His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, on the occasion of his official inauguration of the center.
In statements to “Sharjah 24”, she said that the center of is an environmental tourism landmark characterized by its unique design and strategic location between the embrace of the picturesque nature in the Qurum Reserve.
Al Qaidi explained that the center offers the visitor a unique tour between the mangrove reserve, observing the environmental diversity rich in shorebirds, creatures, sea turtles and reem gazelles.
She added that the center includes 3 interior sections for visitors, and is open to the public every day from 9am until 6:30 pm, and the holiday is on Monday.
Regarding working hours during the blessed Ramadan, it is daily from 9:30 until 1:30, and the holiday is on Mondays. According to the center's official, the entrance fee to the center is 15 dirhams for adults, and free for children under the age of 13.
