Sharjah24: Aisha Al Hassan, Director of the Arab Heritage Center in Sharjah, explained that the Emirati folklore documentation project begins in the heart of Sharjah on the occasion of the presence of various popular groups in the Heritage Square to participate in the activities of Sharjah Heritage Days.
In statements to "Sharjah 24", Al Hassan indicated that this project will continue over a period of 21 days, divided into 3 stages, the first beginning with the documentation of enthusiastic arts, then the performative arts, and finally the religious, adding that this documentation will be of all kinds: the written, the visual, and auditory.
She added that after collecting this material, it will be transferred to the archive for the benefit of researchers and specialists in the country's cultural heritage, and their very concerns to document the history of the UAE in this aspect.
