Sharjah 24: Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, received on Wednesday, Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police and the accompanying delegation, at Khudeira Camp ranges in Al Dhaid, Sharjah, to exchange experiences and get acquainted with best practices in the policing system to enhance security work.
Welcoming the delegation, Major General Al Shamsi hailed the work of the Dubai Police and the advancement methods they adopt in the various areas of the security work.
Al Shamsi accompanied the Dubai Police delegation on an inspection tour that included the shooting fields in the Khudeira Camp ranges in Al Dhaid during which the delegation learnt about the means of development that the Sharjah Police is pursuing in all areas of security work in terms of using the latest equipment and modern capabilities that contribute to raising the level of readiness, competence and fitness of the police personnel.
After the end of the tour, the Dubai Police delegation expressed their appreciation and admiration for the shooting ranges at Khudeira Camp, and its development which is in line with the latest findings of global shooting ranges, praising the role played by the Sharjah Police and its constant endeavour to reach the highest level of training competence and equipment to raise levels of police work, and its keen interest in various types of police sports and activities.
After that tour, the delegation visited the Sharjah Police Officers Club, where they inspected the stadiums, gyms and a training hall dedicated to karate and jiu-jitsu, where the attendees praised the available sports equipment, which allows its members of officers, non-commissioned officers and individuals to practice various sports activities.
Wrapping up the visit, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police thanked his Sharjah counterpart for the warm welcome and good reception, wishing the Sharjah Police further development in all areas of security work.
