Sharjah24: The Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) launched a competition for students of private schools in the emirate from grades 1 to 12, as part of its efforts to enhance the creativity and innovation spirit of students, and to activate the objectives of the activities of the UAE Innovates , a prominent national event that aims to establish a culture of innovation in the school community.

The Sharjah Private Education Authority stressed the importance of the competition, given the effective ideas concerned with developing innovative solutions for plastic waste, traffic accidents, as well as carbon emissions, bringing them to the level of "zero", noting that the competition's objectives are to promote the culture of research and investigation.

The Authority has set a time limit for receiving the posts on the 28th of this month, provided that the participants submit their work through a short video of no more than 3 minutes duration, signed in the name of the student and the school, in addition to publishing the video on the participants' accounts on Instagram, and referring to the Sharjah Special Education Authority account.

His Excellency Ali Al Hosani, Director of Sharjah Private Education Authority stated that the competition comes within the framework of the Authority’s efforts and objectives aimed at establishing a culture of innovation and excellence among students, in line with the national strategy of the country that contributes to finding solutions to societal and environmental challenges.

A specialised jury of specialists will evaluate the projects to select the best 5 projects that receive the highest evaluation from the committee.
