Sharjah 24: Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah (Sajaya), an affiliate of the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators, will host Lt. Colonel Mariam Al Mansouri, the F16 Fighter Pilot for the UAE Air Force, on Tuesday at 11 am.
At the meeting, Lt. Colonel Al Mansouri will talk about her experience and how she defied all difficulties and overcame obstacles to achieve her dream of becoming the first Emirati fighter in the Air Force and Air Defence.
By hosting Lt. Colonel Al Mansouri remotely via visual communication, Sajaya aims to open the way for the participants to interact with the inspirers and benefit from their experiences and practical expertise, and to identify personalities who managed to make a positive difference at the local and global levels to be a good example for future Emirati generations.
Mariam Al Mansouri was born in Abu Dhabi to a family of 8. She studied in the city of Khorfakkan and graduated from high school in the scientific section. She joined the UAE University and obtained BA in English Language and Literature.
