Sharjah 24: Mohammed Khamis Al Naqbi, Deputy Governor of Shees Region of Khorfakkan, praised the efforts of the Sharjah Charity International (SCI) and its role in promoting social solidarity and extending a helping hand to the needy inside and outside the UAE.

Mohammed Khamis Al Naqbi, Deputy Governor of Shees Region of Khorfakkan, appreciated the initiative of SCI, represented by the Khorfakkan Department, to launch the Shees Charity Campaign to support workers and farmers in the region.

In statements to "Sharjah 24", Al Naqbi said that the campaign, from which about 150 workers benefited, brought joy to the workers, pointing out that solidarity and compassion are always part of the Emirate of Sharjah.

Al Naqbi stressed that SCI and the government departments in Sharjah take the visions and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, as a guideline for charitable and humanitarian work that affects all parts of the UAE and extends beyond its borders to many countries around the world.

Concluding his statement, Al Naqbi noted the importance of the campaign in helping workers and providing them with some basic commodities and foodstuffs, in addition to a winter bag that protects them from cold weather during the winter season.
