Sharjah 24: His Excellency Thabet Al Tarifi, Director General of the Sharjah Municipality (SM), inaugurated the first environmentally friendly mini-park made entirely of recycled materials, on Wednesday, at the Transportation Department building of the municipality.
On this occasion, Khalid bin Falah Al Suwaidi, Assistant Director General of Sharjah Municipality for the Customer Service Sector, confirmed that the sustainable mini-park, which was inaugurated on Wednesday, is the first in the UAE, indicating that it comes within the framework of the municipality’s keenness to follow the government directives in sustainability.
Al Suwaidi added, in statements to "Sharjah 24", that the park is part of the complete project that the municipality adopts towards making it a sustainable municipality that serves the governmental direction of the Emirate of Sharjah.
