The new identity reflects the values of solidarity, cooperation and participation as key pillars of voluntary work, while highlighting the award’s mission to encourage individuals and institutions to contribute to volunteer initiatives and to combine their efforts to create a tangible and sustainable impact in society.
The new logo features the slogan, “Solidarity... The Foundation of Every Impact”, underscoring the importance of collective efforts and complementary roles among individuals, institutions and partners.
Fatima Mousa Al Baloushi, Secretary-General of the Sharjah Voluntary Work Award, said the new identity marks an important milestone and an extension of the award’s journey, reflecting its aspirations for a more advanced phase of voluntary work grounded in participation, appreciation of giving and creating impact.
She noted that the award will continue to strengthen its position as a national platform for recognising volunteer initiatives and encouraging wider community participation.
Hameed Ali Al Abbar, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees, said the new identity goes beyond its visual elements to reflect an integrated institutional direction focused on developing the award’s tools and mechanisms, strengthening governance and efficiency, and expanding its reach across society.
Hanan Saleh Al Khayal, Executive Director of the award, said the new identity reflects the award’s evolution and the diversity of its areas of work, presenting its message with greater clarity and appeal.
Dr Musab Saeed Al Obeid Al Ketbi, a board member, highlighted the importance of knowledge, expertise and innovation in developing voluntary work and improving the quality of initiatives.
Sultan Mohammed Al Khayal, a board member, stressed the importance of reaching wider segments of society and promoting volunteering as a culture of positive participation.

Dr Saeed Sultan bin Dalmook, a Board member, said the new identity reinforces the award’s focus on sustainable impact as the primary outcome of voluntary work.
Maryam Saeed Al Muhairi, a board member, emphasised the importance of empowering younger generations and encouraging young people to gain skills and experience through meaningful voluntary work.
