The experience aims to broaden members’ knowledge and develop their artistic skills through direct exposure to international puppetry practices.
Participation in the event provides members with first-hand insight into an integrated artistic ecosystem spanning practice, training, production and research.
The programme features a diverse range of puppetry performances and specialised workshops covering puppet-making and manipulation, as well as professional meetings, knowledge-sharing sessions and performance experiences.
The experience reflects Rubu’ Qarn Theatre and Performing Arts Centre’s commitment to providing high-quality opportunities that enable members, according to their levels of knowledge and age groups, to develop their artistic and personal capabilities.
The initiative extends learning beyond conventional training by exposing members to international experiences and practices and enabling direct engagement with diverse artistic environments.
Through its programmes, the Centre seeks to develop members intellectually and physically, strengthen their communication skills and proficiency in Modern Standard Arabic and in body language, and enhance their observational and constructive criticism skills.
It also empowers members to lead, work effectively within teams and engage positively with others, strengthening their confidence, presence and ability to communicate their messages to audiences.
Through international experience, the Centre also seeks to exchange expertise and establish communication channels with artists, practitioners and specialised institutions.
It will explore opportunities for future cooperation in areas such as training, artistic residencies, hosting performances and artists, and joint project development.
