The programme aimed to make the most of the summer holiday through experiences combining learning, practical application and interaction, while supporting children in discovering their talents and developing their skills and abilities, with the participation of 2,928 boys and girls.
Since the programme launched in July 2026, children have taken part in more than 3,834 specialised programmes, workshops and activities designed to cater to their interests and provide diverse experiences that enable them to learn and acquire new skills, while enhancing their creativity, interaction and ability to work as part of a team.
The activities were divided into various tracks covering arts, science, technology, life skills, sports, literature, languages and theatre, in addition to learning-through-entertainment activities.
The artistic experiences included workshops in pottery, embroidery and arts inspired by different cultures, while the science and technology track featured programmes covering sustainability, renewable energy, robotics, engineering and manufacturing, alongside experiences focusing on design, innovation and problem-solving skills.
The “Emirati House” contributed to introducing children to national identity and cultural heritage through workshops inspired by Emirati architecture, crafts and local customs.
In the literature and languages track, children took part in experiences combining reading, writing, storytelling and creativity, while the theatre track provided a space for developing expression, communication and teamwork skills, as well as building self-confidence.
The sports track formed a key part of the programme, with children taking part in various sporting experiences, including taekwondo, archery, football, swimming and climbing, alongside the “Sports Incubators Camp”, dedicated to girls, and the “Professional Swimming Pool” programme, both held at the Children’s Centre in cooperation with the Sharjah Women Sports. These programmes helped provide an integrated sporting environment that enhanced children’s physical fitness, discipline, spirit of challenge and teamwork.
