The workshop covered a range of topics related to artificial intelligence applications in digital media, including an introduction to AI concepts and their evolution, linguistic models, AI applications in content creation, media, and digital marketing, command engineering, image and video production, the ethics of AI use, and the skills required to thrive in the future of work. This will enable participants to utilize these technologies more efficiently and effectively in their daily work.
The workshop also focused on raising awareness of the potential offered by artificial intelligence technologies and introducing best practices for utilising them in the workplace. It emphasised the importance of responsible and effective use of these technologies to add value to institutional work and maintain the quality and credibility of content.
For his part, Abdul Aziz Omar Al Midfa, Director of the Government Communication Department, explained that organising this workshop aligns with the department's commitment to investing in human capital and enhancing the readiness of its staff to deal with rapid technological changes. This is in line with the Sharjah government's directives to promote the use of artificial intelligence and support innovation and digital transformation across various sectors.
Al Midfa stressed the importance of strategic partnerships in exchanging knowledge and expertise and providing learning and development opportunities for employees. This fosters an innovative work environment capable of leveraging modern technologies to develop services and improve institutional performance.
