SDD develops data and AI skills of 40 government employees

Sharjah24: Maryam Hassan Al Marzouqi, Head of the Data Governance Section at the Sharjah Digital Department (SDD), announced that the department is implementing a Data and Artificial Intelligence Competency Development Programme in collaboration with PwC Academy. The programme will involve 40 participants from 25 government entities across the emirate.

The programme aims to strengthen participants’ capabilities in reading and analysing data and in using artificial intelligence responsibly to enhance government work in Sharjah.

Al Marzouqi said the diversity of participating entities offers an opportunity to exchange expertise and supports the application of advanced solutions and emerging technologies across various areas of government work.

She added that the programme directly supports Sharjah’s ambitions under its Digital Transformation Strategy 2026–2028 by enhancing the use of data and artificial intelligence and placing people at the centre of the development process.
