Sharjah24: Maryam Ahmed Al Shamsi, Events Manager at Sharjah Charity International (SCI), announced the launch of the association's Back-to-School campaign, in partnership with several local institutions and private companies, ahead of the new academic year. The campaign aims to support beneficiary families and provide their children with school supplies, with a target of distributing 6,500 school bags.

Speaking exclusively to Sharjah24, Al Shamsi stated that SCI is currently at the Sharjah Women's Union, where it is assisting more than 200 families in choosing suitable school bags for their children, from primary to secondary school, for both male and female students.

Al Shamsi noted that the campaign aims to distribute 6,500 school bags, with distribution continuing until the allocated quantity is exhausted. The initiative aims to bring joy to students and their families and to support them at the start of the academic year.

Recognising community partners

Al Shamsi expressed her sincere thanks and appreciation to Dubai Islamic Bank and all participating and supporting institutions, organisations, and companies for their active contributions and their role in supporting the community and promoting solidarity and giving. She wished everyone a successful academic year.
