Speaking exclusively to Sharjah24, Al Shamsi said the kits prepared for workers were tailored to the nature and conditions of their working environment. They included a range of protective supplies to support workers while carrying out their duties, including gloves to protect against the heat of the sun and at work sites, as well as umbrellas and sunglasses. The kits also contained meals, providing workers with items suited to the nature of their work during the summer.
The Events Officer at Sharjah Charity International added that the participation of the ‘Good Deeds Makers’ children was a practical aspect of the initiative. It gave them the opportunity to interact directly with workers and to contribute to providing support, embodying the values of volunteering and community giving through a hands-on experience.
