Sharjah Police entertain participants
The closing event featured performances by the Sharjah Police General Headquarters, including displays by the police band and K9 unit, drawing enthusiastic responses from participants and visitors.
Four themed weeks
Running over four weeks, the programme was organised around four themes: Family Week, Artificial Intelligence Week, Sharjah Week, and Sports Week. It combined sporting, cultural, educational and recreational activities aimed at developing students' skills while reinforcing national and social values.
A total of 112 activities were delivered, supported by more than 160 training sessions, with over seven events organised each day. The programme included educational and skills workshops, awareness initiatives, sporting, cultural and heritage activities, as well as more than 30 field trips to tourist and heritage landmarks across Kalba in cooperation with the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority.
Participants also attended specialist workshops covering national identity, saving and financial management, and mental skills development. Additional sessions delivered by the Sharjah Family Development Foundation focused on strengthening national and social values through practical, interactive activities.
Discovering sporting talent
As part of the club's talent identification programme, its technical committees selected more than 60 promising young athletes, who have now joined the club's specialised teams, helping to strengthen its talent pathway for future competitions.
Building skills beyond sport
Abdullah Mohammed bin Huwaiden, Board Member of Kalba Sports and Cultural Club and Chairman of the organising committee, said the programme's success reflected the club's commitment to delivering an integrated experience that combines sport, education, personal development and character building, in line with the Sharjah Sports Council's vision of making productive use of students' summer holidays.
He praised the Sharjah Sports Council for its continued support while also thanking the organising committee, strategic partners, cooperating organisations and the club's Board of Directors for their contributions to the programme's success.
Parents also commended the initiative, saying it successfully balanced education and entertainment while helping participants develop new skills and strengthen their national and social values.
