The opening was attended by Dr Issa Saif bin Hanzal, Sharjah Executive Council Member and Chairman of the Department of Islamic Affairs, in the presence of the donor, several department directors and officials.

The attendees performed the afternoon prayer in the mosque, then toured its facilities.

The mosque can accommodate approximately 300 worshippers, featuring several facilities including the imam's residence, ablution area, and washrooms.

The department affirmed its commitment to continuing the implementation of its strategic plans to construct mosques in various cities and suburbs of the emirate, in coordination with the relevant authorities, and to studying the needs of new residential areas.
