In partnership with the "Ata’a" (giving) humanitarian initiative, also organised by Tatweer, participants engaged in an artistic experience that combined creativity with volunteer work. They designed and crafted simple toys from pneumatic clay, which were then carefully painted and prepared for gifting to children with cancer, to bring joy to their hearts and put smiles on their faces.
The workshop saw remarkable engagement from the foundation's members, who expressed their eagerness to utilise their artistic skills in support of humanitarian initiatives. They emphasised the importance of art as a means of expressing positive emotions and reinforcing the values of empathy and social solidarity.
This workshop is part of Sharjah Capability Development's efforts to provide high-quality programmes that develop creative skills and enhance social impact, contributing to the building of conscious individuals capable of employing their talents to serve the community.
"Tatweer" affirmed that the partnership between the "Fnnak" programme and the "Ata’a" humanitarian initiative represents a model of integration between creative and volunteer work. The workshop's outcomes extend beyond the artistic aspect, conveying humanitarian messages carried by the participants to the hearts of the beneficiary children, embodying the meanings of giving, love, and hope.
The workshop concluded in an atmosphere brimming with creativity and generosity, after participants completed their artwork, which will be presented to children with cancer. This experience embodied the power of art to make a humanitarian impact, reinforcing the values of social responsibility and compassion and affirming that even the simplest initiatives can have a profound effect on others.
