SIH celebrates Eid with staff initiative

Sharjah24: As part of its efforts to foster a positive work environment and strengthen social bonds among employees, the Sharjah Institute for Heritage (SIH) organised the “Fawaltkom Alaina” initiative for its staff in celebration of Eid Al Adha. The event was held in a festive atmosphere filled with warmth, joy and a strong sense of community.

The initiative aimed to create a friendly and enjoyable gathering for employees and affiliates across the institute, encouraging effective communication and promoting a spirit of familiarity, happiness and teamwork within the workplace. It also sought to enhance institutional cooperation and reinforce a positive organisational culture.

Emirati hospitality and entertainment

The event featured light refreshments and traditional sweets, alongside a dedicated corner serving authentic Emirati coffee, reflecting the UAE’s rich heritage and renowned hospitality. An entertainment segment also added to the celebratory atmosphere, encouraging interaction and engagement among employees.

Al Kindi extends Eid greetings

His Excellency Professor Abu Bakr Al Kindi, Director of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, joined staff during the celebrations and extended his Eid Al Adha greetings. He expressed his appreciation for their dedication, continued presence and valuable contributions, praising their active participation in the institute’s various programmes and events.

The institute regularly organises social and cultural initiatives and commemorates national and religious occasions as part of its commitment to strengthening community ties and preserving authentic Emirati traditions.
