Arab-German conference to begin at UOS

Sharjah24: Professor Dr Tarek Assili, Vice Dean of the College of Health Sciences, announced the launch of the Arab-German Conference on Sciences and Humanities, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and President of the University of Sharjah (UOS).

The conference, for the first time in the country, has the theme “Communication in Sciences – Today, Tomorrow, Future,” with Arab and German experts, in collaboration with the Arab-German Young Academy of Sciences and Humanities (AGYA) and the University of Khorfakkan, over four days.

Exchanging expertise

Assili explained that the conference offers an opportunity to exchange academic and scientific expertise in research areas such as energy, medicine, smart cities, space, and astronomy. He also highlighted the participation of several Arab and German experts and academics, noting that a series of specialised workshops for students will be organised to support them across various research disciplines.
