The initiative celebrates 40 years of Sharjah’s cultural project, established by His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, who laid the foundations for investing in people through the creation of centres dedicated to nurturing children, adolescents, and young women. This vision has been continuously supported by Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs (SCFA), culminating in the establishment of the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation, which has carried forward this legacy of preparing creative generations capable of leading the future.
The Foundation’s newly launched Graduates Platform has received an overwhelming response, with over 800 registrants so far from graduates of the entities under the Rubu’ Qarn umbrella — namely Sharjah Children, Sharjah Youth, Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah, and Sharjah Capability Development (Tatweer).
Sheikha Jawaher bint Abdullah Al Qasimi, Director General of the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators, affirmed that the “From Here, It Begins” initiative marks “a milestone of pride that crowns the Foundation’s journey.”
She said:“Through this initiative, we celebrate the fruits of years of work empowering children, adolescents, and youth, and enhancing their leadership and creative skills. It reflects the profound impact of the Foundation’s programmes on their academic and professional paths, translating the vision of the Ruler of Sharjah in building an aware and capable generation.”
She added:“The upcoming ceremony will serve as a space to renew ties between graduates and the Foundation, opening new horizons for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and professional support across generations. We take pride in our graduates who today hold leading positions within the UAE and beyond, and we value the dedication of our teams working diligently to ensure the success of this event and its objectives.”
Sheikha Jawaher bint Abdullah Al Qasimi concluded:“Rubu’ Qarn continues its mission to empower future generations with knowledge, education, and diverse skills that align with Sharjah’s aspirations and the UAE’s vision of preparing qualified individuals capable of shaping the future.”
The upcoming ceremony’s agenda will include the recognition of founding members and dedicated staff who have contributed to the Foundation’s success and reinforced its influential role in society. The event will also feature a group photo of graduates and the presentation of commemorative gifts to mark the occasion.
The Foundation invites all its graduates aged 18 and above to participate in this special event and engage with the initiative by registering via the official platform before 27 November.
This effort comes as part of Rubu’ Qarn’s commitment to strengthening sustainable communication with its graduates, fostering knowledge exchange, and building bridges of cooperation across generations.
