Sharjah 24: Fatma Bin Huraiz Al Falasi, Director of Research and Studies at the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Center, stated that the Center is participating in the 44th Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) with a distinguished collection of its publications and studies that document the history of the UAE and showcase its popular narratives.

Fostering cultural dialogue and heritage connection

She emphasised to “Sharjah 24” that the Center’s participation is driven by its commitment to engage directly with the public and researchers. She added that the goal is to foster cultural dialogue and provide content that strengthens the connection of new generations to their national heritage, reinforcing the Center’s position as a leading authority on heritage and identity.

Launch of new publications

Al Falasi noted that the pavilion witnessed the launch and signing of three new publications covering social heritage, maritime history, and the oral memory of the community. These works contribute to the Center’s ongoing mission of developing annual heritage content and promoting cultural knowledge.
