Her Highness emphasised that investing in children and youth is the cornerstone of national development and stability, stating, “When we instil confidence in a child and responsibility in youth, we give the nation its true future. Building capacities is the foundation of all development, and empowerment is the path to lasting stability.”
She added that the UAE–Morocco partnership exemplifies a transformative model of humanitarian collaboration centred on knowledge, productivity, and long-term impact, rather than simply aid.

During her visit, Her Highness inaugurated several initiatives supported by TBHF aimed at enhancing education, building youth capacity, and promoting sustainable livelihoods.
In Marrakech, Sheikha Jawaher launched the Empowering Children and Youth in Marrakech Project in partnership with SOS Children’s Villages International, which includes the renovation of the SOS Primary School in Aït Ourir Village. The project will offer a safe and modern educational environment for over 500 children, featuring upgraded classrooms, improved sanitation, a digital lab, and a contemporary library.
The initiative also features the creation of the PlasticPreneurs Innovation Hub, which will train 100 young men and women in green economy skills, product design, and environmental entrepreneurship. The hub will serve as a sustainable learning platform that equips youth to lead recycling and circular economy initiatives.
These projects align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Quality Education (SDG 4), Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG 8), Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10), and Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17).

In the Atlas Mountains, Her Highness launched the Rising Roots Morocco programme, in collaboration with the High Atlas Foundation, to empower 24 young men and women through environmental education, agricultural training, and community entrepreneurship.
Over an 18-month period, participants will receive practical training at two model educational farms before designing and implementing youth-led environmental projects supported by TBHF through seed grants.
The initiative aims to develop six innovative community projects focused on green development, benefiting more than 600 people in rural areas. It directly supports Morocco’s Green Generation 2020–2030 strategy and TBHF’s vision of connecting environmental sustainability with human empowerment.

Her Highness praised Morocco’s development experience, which combines “deep-rooted authenticity with a forward-looking vision,” noting that Sharjah and the UAE share this approach, working alongside Morocco as partners in progress and empowerment.
“Our partnerships with Moroccan institutions are developmental and empowering, not merely supportive,” Sheikha Jawaher affirmed. “We believe that success is not measured by how much aid is given, but by how capable communities become of sustaining their own progress.”
She finished her visit by reaffirming TBHF’s commitment to expanding cooperation in Morocco, saying, “We are proud to be among our family in Morocco. Their determination and creativity inspire us to keep going, for when good is built through partnership, its impact becomes deeper and longer lasting.”
