Sharjah 24 – WAM: Sharjah Charity International continues implementing its Charity Kitchens project in Kenya, providing daily meals to needy communities as part of its broader "Feeding Food" initiative. The project targets villages and remote areas to support underprivileged populations.

Six kitchens serve 600 meals daily

Ali Mohammed Al Rashidi, Head of the External Projects and Aid Sector at Sharjah Charity International, explained that the project operates six charity kitchens, each providing around 100 lunches per day, totaling approximately 600 meals daily. Meals are prepared on-site to ensure high quality and food safety.

Focus on accessibility for beneficiaries

Al Rashidi highlighted that the kitchens are strategically located in villages and near mosques to ensure easy access for beneficiaries, reflecting the association’s commitment to reaching the communities that need support most.
