Le Havre, sitting 16th in the standings, took a surprise lead at the Velodrome when Yassine Kechta struck in the 24th minute. However, the game turned decisively after Le Havre defender Gautier Lloris conceded a penalty for handball and was sent off following a VAR review. Greenwood converted the penalty to equalise and later fired Marseille ahead midway through the second half.
The English winger completed his hat-trick in the 72nd minute and added a fourth soon after, punishing Le Havre’s tiring defence. Robinho Vaz added Marseille’s fifth goal late in the game before Abdoulaye Toure’s stunning volley briefly reduced the deficit. Amir Murillo capped the victory with Marseille’s sixth in stoppage time.
In Nice, Lyon missed their chance to go top after falling 3-2 in a tense encounter. Melvin Bard, Sofiane Diop and Hicham Boudaoui were on target for the hosts, while Pavel Sulc scored twice for Lyon. Ainsley Maitland-Niles missed a crucial penalty early in the second half, costing his side a potential comeback. The defeat left Lyon fourth on 15 points, three behind Marseille, while Monaco remained fifth after a 1-1 draw with Angers.
