During the meeting, Abubakr Al Kindi emphasised the importance of teamwork and collective effort to ensure the success of the upcoming edition of the event, which is regarded as one of the most prominent cultural and heritage festivals in the UAE and the wider region. He highlighted that Sharjah Heritage Days continues to play a crucial role in reviving Emirati heritage, promoting cultural dialogue among nations, and embodying the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, in supporting culture and preserving human heritage.
Al Kindi mentioned that the Higher Committee, under the directives of Dr Abdulaziz Al Musallam, Chairman of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, is developing a comprehensive organisational plan that aligns with the vision of the wise leadership and the institute’s goals to improve the event year after year. He praised the strong cooperation among committees and working teams across all sectors, ensuring that the upcoming edition offers an exceptional experience that reflects Sharjah’s cultural identity and showcases the richness of Emirati heritage to the world.
