Launch of the Sharjah Digital Hackathon at GITEX 2025

Sharjah 24: Engineer Lamia Obaid Al Hosani Al Shamsi, Director of the Sharjah Digital Department, announced the commencement of the "Sharjah Digital Hackathon" as part of the Sharjah Government Pavilion's participation at GITEX 2025. The Sharjah Youth Council and the Rubu' Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators collaborate on this initiative.

Highlighting Sharjah's outstanding participation
In her statement to Sharjah 24, Al Shamsi hailed the Sharjah Government Pavilion's involvement in GITEX this year as extraordinary, both in terms of the projects and initiatives displayed and the innovative methods used to display them. She underlined that the goal is to highlight the power of government integration through four main systems that prioritise the human being.

Strategic collaboration for innovation
Al Shamsi also mentioned the formation of strategic partnerships with key figures in the digital transformation industry, citing a strong belief that synergy between the public and private sectors is the foundation for achieving sustainable development and innovation in the service of humanity.
