Sheikh Hamdan was accompanied by Nasser Mohammed Al Mansoori, Undersecretary of the Ruler’s Representative Court in Al Dhafra Region, as well as senior regional officials. ADNOC executives and staff welcomed the delegation during the visit.
His Highness praised the UAE’s overall development under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He highlighted ADNOC’s role in supporting sustainable growth, improving quality of life, and driving economic and social development through its ongoing projects in Al Dhannah.
Sheikh Hamdan also commended the professionalism and dedication of ADNOC employees, noting that their efforts have strengthened the UAE’s position as a reliable and responsible global energy leader.
During the tour, Sheikh Hamdan was briefed on the development of Al Dhannah Hospital, one of the largest multi-specialty hospitals in the Al Dhafra Region. The facility will offer advanced healthcare services to ADNOC employees, their families, and the wider community.
He was also updated on the Dhafra Oasis for Giving—an ADNOC initiative in collaboration with partners such as the Ruler’s Representative Court, the Emirates Red Crescent, and government bodies. The initiative supports community health projects including ‘Dhafra Doctor’, which provides medical services to senior citizens, and ‘Voice of Hope’, which offers advanced hearing implants to patients in need.
Sheikh Hamdan reviewed ADNOC’s Truck Rest Areas project, scheduled to open by the end of September 2025. These four integrated sites along Sheikh Khalifa International Road will include fuel stations, prayer and rest rooms, restaurants, and retail outlets.
The project aims to improve road safety and provide comfort to truck drivers and motorists.
To conclude the visit, Sheikh Hamdan toured the Al Dhannah Sports Complex, which will feature modern sports and recreational facilities for residents of all ages.
